About Us

Not much to tell really, and frankly our company is not about us, it's about you:
Whether you're an Annapolitan, or someone who simply loves the charm and
beauty of our wonderful city.

The story behind Trish, Barb and ATA . . .

Barbara was born and raised on a dairy farm; she eventually got tired of
milking cows and churning butter, so she packed her belongings in a milk
carton and took off for the big city to find fame and fortune.

Trish, on the other hand, grew up in Monaco. Having lived a very privileged
life, she became increasingly bored and in her late teens, she began gambling.
At their wits end, her family turned to a 12-step program here in the United
States, where she kicked her gambling habit and turned to knitting as a hobby
She and her husband and 21 children live on a sheep farm.

The two finally met when Barbara, who had gone back to dairy farming, was
herding cows.  One of the cows (Betsy, who was later put down because of
mad cow disease) broke out and busted through the fence between the farms.
Trish was out shearing sheep at the time, and after they got the errant cow under
control and repaired the fence, Trish invited Barbara in for tea and scones, over
which they decided it was high time Annapolis had a toile of it's own . . . the rest
is history.

That's our story, and we're stickin' to it.
